On the hill dedicated to the annual Easter fire above Referinghausen stands the Open Mind Place Sound of the Sun, a collaboratively built installation that invites reflection and inspiration. Its tent-shaped roof shelters a wooden lounger set into a recycled concrete base, designed to capture the golden rays of the evening sun and the soothing sounds of the surrounding nature.
Here, visitors can unwind, immerse themselves in the serene landscape, and find a moment of peace. The installation serves as both a sanctuary for personal solitude in nature and a vibrant gathering spot for the local community to share ideas, nurture creativity, and embark on new projects. It is a place where natural beauty and communal collaboration converge.
